Finance
The Finance Committee oversees and manages the finances of the church. The Committee prepares and presents the annual budget to the Standing Committee for recommendation to the congregation at the annual meeting, monitors expenditures for current and escrow accounts, and submits monthly and annual financial reports to the Standing Committee. The Finance Committee liaises with Trustees concerning endowments and tracks investments.
The Committee works with church staff and committee chairs to ensure appropriate use of church funds and supervises the Office Administrator in the performance of her bookkeeping functions. It oversees application of current financial software, including QuickBooks and Church Windowsand makes recommendations as needed.
6:00 p.m. 1st Wednesday of the month at Carll House.
Hired a consultant to do a compilation (partial audit) of church books. Decided to retain QuickBooks for accounting/bookkeeping and reviewed and approved the 2010-2011 operating budget.
Undertake financial review of the church records.

Fundraising
The Committee plans and promotes regular events for fun and fund raising within the congregation and out in the community.
As needed.
Organized profitable fundraisers: Assisted the Rummage Sale, BBQ & Blues, Chili Cook Off, and Bake Sale.
