Fundraising

The Fundraising Committee hosts a variety of events that raise revenues to support the many
programs of PUUC.

Our current three primary fundraisers include:

Dinner Anywhere in the Word Raffle with the winner receiving $5000 toward a meal, 2-night
accommodations and travel! The 2024 winner has planned a trip to Scotland with her winnings.

PUUC hosts a holiday fair included in Peterborough’s annual Holiday Stroll. Our fair includes
the ever-popular cookie walk, craft vendors, baked goods, and holiday gifts. A children’s
painting corner is available, a fun activity in which Santa always participates!

Each spring, PUUC hosts an online auction and a popular live auction that is a favorite social event! The online auction features a variety of gift cards from local businesses, art, jewelry, baked goods, and a variety of other offerings. The live auction is a fun filled evening with many services offered including hosted meals of a variety of cuisines; services such as an antique car rides, scenic airplane ride, window washing, gardening, airport rides; art including items such as a hand-turned wooden bowl, Scandinavian bread boards, a whimsical painted chair, personalized drawing of your dog! And so much more…
