The selection is a short book titled “The Summer Book,” by Tove Jansson, who writes about the summertime adventures and unique conversations between a woman and her precocious young granddaughter on an island in the Gulf of Finland.

WindowDressers is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization that builds window inserts for customers in Northern New England. The Monadnock-area build will take place October 15 to 20, 2026 in the downstairs dining room of the Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Meetinghouse.
