Rev. Shayna Appel is an ordained minister with standing in both the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) and the United Church of Christ (UCC). Raised Jewish, and in preparation for ministry in the UUA, Shayna chose to attend a Christian seminary to overcome her "Christophobia." She overshot the mark and found herself called to ministry at the intersection of both Judaism and Christianity. Shayna is a retired parish minister, still working as a community minister.
